"The COS 2023 Zibibbo in Pithos is made with a much-loved Sicilian grape called Zibibbo (otherwise known as Muscat of Alexandria). Grapes are sourced from the Marsala area, and in the case of this wine, clay amphorae are used in winemaking. The effect is very special because you get the floral sweetness of the variety with honeysuckle and canned peach, but you also get some of the dustiness and the mineral contouring that comes with aging in clay vessels. The wine shows a saturated golden color and a creamy finish."
