"The 2022 demonstrates both a brightness of fragrant florals along with earthy depths evoking truffles. Plum and forest berry provide the backdrop. The site's power and vigour come through with sturdy tannins, and barrique ageing lends mocha nuances. This is quite a striking, polished Barbaresco comfortable in its modern sheen. Bric Balin, which means cherry tree in dialect, comes from predominantly west-facing vineyards within the Muncagöta MGA. The site is characterised by clay-rich marls giving wines with solid structure."
