Moderately saturated bright red colour. Intense violet and dark berry aromas on the inviting nose (very Merlot!) but with a Cabernet Franc lift. Less minty than the 2023 but still very fresh, with ripe, sweet blue and black fruit with suggestions of mine...

"Moderately saturated bright red colour. Intense violet and dark berry aromas on the inviting nose (very Merlot!) but with a Cabernet Franc lift. Less minty than the 2023 but still very fresh, with ripe, sweet blue and black fruit with suggestions of minerals lingering nicely on the fresh finish. Fermented and matured in cement (so no oak whatsoever), the Rosso di Notri is a complicated blend of about 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, plus a 20% Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese mix."
