"This is my favorite wine from Frank Cornelissen among this group of new releases. The 2021 Munjebel Rosso VA (with just 4,000 bottles created) reveals a straight-shooting style with lively aromas of wild cherry, blue flower and sour pomegranate. To the palate, it shows a lean and firm delivery with a good moment of snap or crunch on the finish. Fruit comes from some of the younger vines in the Vigneto Barbarbecchi at 900 meters above sea level, and more comes from Tartaraci at the 1,000-meter mark high up the volcanic cone. The alcohol content is powerful at 15%."
