"Dark, elegant ruby red colour with a subtly brightening rim. Fragrant, slightly floral on the nose, with clear, elegant fine wood, juicy cherry fruit and fine floral hints. Good harmony on the palate, fruit and acidity are in their right place, the new wood still dominates a little, with a slight after-dryness, still needs to age."

"A beautifully lifted character marks this Amarone as elegant despite its 16% alcohol. Masses of menthol, orange peel, cacao nibs and a sprinkle of spice levitate, while layers of dark, plummy fruits linger. The long finish produces bright violet tones. Great balance."
